Hotel Ilio is tailored to the customer's needs,
just like a haute-couture dress. Boutique hotel is a word that embraces a world
of wonderful meanings! It means a new way to look at hospitality:
a friendly welcome and perfectly customised services, which are
tailored to the customer, just like a haute-couture dress. This
word is taken from the United States, the land of huge thousand-room
hotels which have a nondescript look and are furnished in just the
same way everywhere in the world. The 'boutique hotel' concept strongly
opposes to these large-scale standard chains: a boutique hotel should
be small, housed in a prestigious building, furnished with period
or quirky furniture; the ideal would be a fairly 'faded' look, combined
with an Internet connection in all rooms. These hotels can be either
modern or old, country or metropolitan hotels, but all of them guarantee
reliability, quality services, great appeal and a convenient location.

are stylish! The Ilio hotel at Capo Sant'Andrea is the epitome of
the boutique hotel and much more than that: it is a small gem set
in the uncontaminated nature of the National Park of the Tuscan
Archipelago, it has 20 wonderful rooms named after Mediterranean
plants: the pomegranate, the lemon, the geranium, rooms appointed
to impeccable standards. It is located three hundred steps from
the beach, two hundred from the reef and is equipped with all mod
coms. A warm but impeccable welcome. Peace and relax are the elements
of the wild, varied landscape that surrounds it: beaches of poignant
beauty, reefs polished and carved by the waves, myriad hues of green
and the gaudy colours of sweet-smelling flowers. Behind you, the
mountains, in your eyes, the sea. The Ilio hotel stands out for
its strict respect for the environment and its unbounded love for
the purest local traditions in the delicious dishes prepared by
its chef, Vincenzo Marzocchi, that make the most of the local catch,
and in the excellent wine list. Land and water sports galore, with
or without the assistance of licensed experts. The only drawback
is: you'll get used to such perfection…and sooner or later
you'll have to get back home.
